In the early spring of 2022 we travelled just over a month through Costa Rica in Central America. Most of our time we travelled with camper vehicles, partly with a small campervan and the larger part with a 4x4 with rooftop tent.

During our trip through Mexico we met some other travellers who told us about their plans to go to Costa Rica and travel that country with camper vehicles, more specifically 4x4 with a rooftop tent. It inspired us to do some research into the possibilities and when we were in California earlier that winter we decided to go to Costa Roca for a month.
